Yin Yoga je polagani stil yoge u kojem se položaji zadržavaju dulji period vremena, po nekoliko minuta, bez upotrebe mišića, da bi se doprlo do vezivnih tkiva; tetiva, ligamenata i fascie. Time se povećava njihova prokrvljenost, cirkulacija u zglobovima te fleksibilnost. Ovaj meditativniji oblik yoge povećava svjesnost unutarnje tišine i idealna je protuteža dinamičkim oblicima yoge.

Yin yoga is a slow style of yoga in which positions are held for a longer period of time, that is for a few minutes, without using your muscles, in order to reach connective tissues, sinews, ligaments and fascia tissue. This increases their blood flow, circulation and flexibility. This meditative form of yoga increases inner silence awareness and represents an ideal complement to dynamic forms of yoga.
